Soon after the new year of 2018 came around, Because of all the Heat The World had gotten in past years, All The World services went offline. Though Players were outraged, CC Corp. insisted that they had no other choice to make.

Then, in 2020, They finally released a new version of The World, The World R:X. The World R:X was a revolution in Gaming technology, bringing about a whole new generation in Gaming consuls and MMO services. When playing The World R:X your consciousness is connected directly to your character, you feel what your character feels, see what your character sees; you essentially can do anything. which brought about the wave of Net Crime known as the Virtual Vices. With this new system it was possible to drink and use drugs, getting the same effect without the hassle of getting it offline. it also became able to sexually harass and assault other players (DO NOT RP THIS, IT'S JUST FOR REALISTIC REASONS). CC Corp tried preventative measures, but inventive hackers found ways around the system. The new Net Crime brought about a new type of Player Character: The Moral Protector. Much like PKKs of old R:2, The Moral Activists use most of their time to hunt down and stop Cyber crime such as theses. Some are even employed by CC Corp.'s Administrative division.

It is expected by many that a new Guild will soon come into Fruition that will accommodate these new Moral Guardians. Many are anticipating an Online war between the Protectors and the Moral outlaws.

Much of this is my own propagation, and some is actual .hack knowledge (such as The World R:X which only comes into play in a Work-in-process called .hack//LINK: Twilight Knights). A lot of questions are unanswered in America, which is why I made this board so that I could RP what I think that kind of World would be like. sounds interesting doesn't it? I know some of this is...Heavy, but I expect all would be real problems should this world become reality.
