Midnight is settling its self here in the [world] as soft winds blow across my face on the plains of Σ Duel Reapers Nightmare, dark and ominous as it's name suggest. This field will prove to be a great challenge, looking around and viewing the hordes of enemies. Left, right, forwards, and behind I am surrounded by the creatures I have been a plague to since the beginning of my stay. Well tonight will be no different; my blades will cut thorough everyone until my goal is realized.
I'm snapped out of thought by the sounds of a battle gate forming around me. Glances to the side show me my attackers, a party of three other players. No doubt they are Pkers who have just picked a fight with the wrong twin blade. One steps forward, motioning with his hand as if I'm to bow to him. “Sorry, I don't speak Sign.” I reply coolly, anger is flaring in his red eyes. “You Bas***d, how dare you! How dare you!” the trio of buffoons rush at me like tumbling weeds. “Armatures”
My legs bend, then snap back up sending my high into the air, [Sparrow Counter] I'm silent as I strike the first one with blinding speed, the heavy Broad Sword of a Edge Punisher slows him so much, easy to dodge. “Take this!” his friends call, I jump back from the noise and barely dodge the Blade Brandier's longsword. “Vak Don!” cries the other, sending a flame at me. What luck, a Shadow Warlock too, this may be come interesting. I flip back to my feet, shaking off the damage of the magic and direct my attention to the little mage hiding in the corner.
[Chaos Strike] I rush and attack quickly, he goes down in a few moments, he must have been here just to power level from these losers. “Hey, you can run if you like. No one will think you less of a man if you do.” I'm answered by an angry shout and am rushed by the Blade Bandier, his attacks fast but not fast enough to deal major amounts of damage. I jump and flip behind him, taking some shots at his back as I forget his friend is still waiting to get a shot off at me. Sucks that I have given him the pleasure.
My body twitches in pain as I slam onto the ground on the other side of the battle ring, I vowing he will never get another chance to strike me again, stand and dash forward for anther strike. [Staccato] The attack is one I learned from a quest I had taken long ago, granting me this reward, a skill from the first game.
… 5 minuets later …
I let out a sigh as I feel a lack of experience being gained from that pointless battle. “You should go somewhere with a lower level, then comeback and try again if you feel so inclined.” I pivot and walk down to the shore, placing my feet in the water as I wait for my strength (health) to return. The monsters here will give me a lot of experience. They are two levels higher then me with a boss somewhere on the map. I'll take him on last as usual... Oh? Whats this?
I wonder who would have sent me a random message with no sender... Ah hell with it, I'll get back to clearing this map later.

The shadow of opression seemed to loom above them all, crackling in the wind of another day in captivity. The face of Lazeth on the billowing drapes made Spiral cringe. He hadn't been to this server yet, because all the areas were too high level for him, But the all-mighty Aust was in charge, not him. Aust was floating around looking much more serious than normal. Saiph should be coming soon. Aust said he wanted to talk to them, but hadn't said what about. He was being awfully suspicious, which was strange for him. He was always talking in riddles, but he was never without an explanation of some sort.
Spiral stepped up behind the Furball, whose eyes were locked on the Chaos Gate, and put his hands on his hips. "So what are we going to talk about, Aust?" He asked, wanting the cat to cough it up already.
"When the hands points to the moon, the fool will not look at the fingertip." Aust replied, "Quoth the Epitaph." Aust turned to face the companion who he'd attached himself to in this vast world of his home. "We have work to do. The walls have ears."
"And the banners have eyes." Spiral retorted acerbically, noting again the stupid red-head up on the swaying flagmasts.
"This used to be such a festive place..." Aust said looking around, floating on an axis to see all around them.
Spiral laughed haughtilly. "Funny; now that this world has replaced the real one, people have made it the same."
"It's all part of Lazeth's social experiment."
"It's sick." Spiral chewed the words roughly, angry at the situation.

I reenter the Root Town to see two old friends waiting. It is a long shot but they may have been the ones to send me the massage, if so they could have given me an explanation of why I had to leave the area, it was going to be a good place to level up... Ah I need to stop complaining and just get to it.
I make my way over to Spiral and Aust, both who I meet on different occasions, now teamed up. Strange but I'll take it for a nickel. I wonder what all of this could be about? I come into sight and raise my hand in greetings “Ho Aust, Spiral. What brings you to such a high level server? Surely not for the sights. Maybe the ladies?” I let out a small laugh and lower my hand. I hope this isn't about that crazy AI that been running around causing havoc. Or on the bright side. “Have you seen the One Sin?” I ask hopefully, I truly don't remember if I've even talked to them about it with my mind so set on searching and training, Hell I don't even know what day it is.
Then again... I think it's Saturday. “Shall we take a walk?”

Aust, levitating cat-like AI, swept down and landed on the ground plascently. He put both hands behind his back, and looked up at the two. "Yes, a walk sounds lovely. We're here because I sent you a message." not sure why I made it annonymous. "We could use the help of a high-level AI such as yourself."
Spiral smiled as the Twinblade joined them. Spiral and Aust had met the PC on two different occasions, not even realizing it untill a recent guild meeting; The last guild meeting before disbanding the guild. "How have you been recently, Saiph? I haven't seen you around the lower-level servers. Are you Training to take on the One Sin? It hasn't appeared in this version of The World yet. But who knows, maybe that crazy Bastard AI will bring it back..." Spiral wasn't a big fan of the guy at all. Spiral ran a hand through his purple hair and turned to face Aust again, beginning to walk a little ways behind him, and keeping his eyes lightly on his friend, Saiph.

So this Lazeth guy is giving everyone problems with one thing or another and my help is needed to put an end to it. Maybe if I help CC Corp they will put the One Sin back into the game and then I could go home and eat some real food. On the other hand, if he destroys the [world] I'm gone with it so I should do my part. “Alright, what con I do to help?”
The words roll off my tongue as I follow Aust, the cat like Ai into the center of the root town when an idea strikes me, “Hey, why don't we go level you up a bit Spiral, I know a nice field where the monsters are pouring out the wood works. It could be a little tough at your level but what's the worse that could happen?” I think to myself for a moment before nodding, “Nothing duck tape can't fix at least.”

Spiral listened to Saiph's proposition and smiled. Same old Saiph. He smiled and looked towards Aust. "As far as that goes, it might have to wait. We need to move quickly to take care of something." Spiral looked around to see whether people were watching at this point.
Aust turned and floated up to look directly at Saiph. "have you checked the Quest shop recently?" He asked, turning back to look at the shop near the front of town. "Maybe you should more often."

The quest shop, what need do I have with the quest shop? Unless there is a quest that could give t=me the levels I or help my stats, well maybe its something worth while and not 'find mecha grunty' again. “Why, whats at the quest shop?” I laugh on the inside as I ask the same question I have just thought out. Maybe it's a quest for the One Sin... no they would have said something about that earlier. “Is it a good level grinding quest or something?” I turn and make my way towards the little stall where a silly looking NPC stands.
These guys always make me laugh, they are so funny looking. “So, what quest do you have sir?” The Non-chatty NPC gives me a list, there is only one quest... it's for me. “Saiph, the Sword... I must be in party... Proctor, Lazeth. I wonder what this crazy Ai could want with me?” I take a look back at me company, my friends:
the message was sent to both of them. “Well lets see what we can do to put a niche in this guy's day, huh?” I accept the quest. “So, where are we going?”
